They'll even join you for a round or two. Join our tennis pro, Austin Williams, for a lesson or quick match. And when you're ready to relax, our hospitality team is waiting to welcome you with delicious food and drinks in an ambiance of friendly camaraderie in the clubhouse.

Jordan's passion for the game of golf is exceeded only by his passion for his family.  As a member of the PGA since 2005, Jordan, along with his wife Debbie, has moved around the country working at several prestigious facilities including The Vaquero Club outside of Dallas, Iron Horse GC in Whitefish, Montana, CordeValle GC in California and most recently Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club in Cashiers. Jordan loves to teach players of all levels and is a PlaneTruth and PGA Certified instructor. Jordan and Debbie have been married since 2002 and have two wonderful sons, Chase and Blake.

While studying at the University of Georgia, Chef David developed an immense passion for cooking and later enrolled in Culinary School at Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC.  Through instruction there and in several kitchens including McCrady's and Slightly North of Broad, David expanded his culinary knowledge and refined his techniques. In an effort to further develop creatively and professionally, David moved to Chapel Hill and joined the team at the Five Diamond, Five Star Relais and Chateaux Fearrington House Inn and Restaurant. After three years there and two at renowned French Restaurant , Provence, in Carrboro, he decided to move to Highlands and joined the original team at Madison's Restaurant at the Old Edwards Inn in 2004. David then served as Executive Chef at Western Carolina for two years in their catering department before coming to Old Edwards Club where he has been the Executive Chef for eleven years now. As the club family has grown, so has his. David and his wife, Eleanor, have two amazing sons Lauch and Dash. As a 5th generation North Carolinian, Chef David takes pride in blending Tarheel food ways, customs, and ingredients with classic training to offer fresh takes on Classic dishes to the membership.

Jacky Cabler is a South Florida native. After being raised in Boynton Beach, she attended the Hilton College at The University of Houston and the Art Institute of Houston. Having trained in the hospitality business in Houston, she returned home to Florida to pursue her culinary career and raise her daughter. Since 1997, Jacky has worked exclusively in private country clubs. After beginning seasonal work at Old Edwards Club, Jacky fell in love with the area and the Club, and became a year-round Cashiers resident.

Having lived in North Carolina for over thirty years, Jonathan's restaurant and hospitality experience is homegrown with his North Carolinian roots. In his early years in Chapel Hill, Jonathan was the F & B Supervisor overseeing 3 restaurants at Galloway Ridge. He then moved on to the Food & Beverage supervisor at Pazzo Italian. Later, he became the Senior Bartender and trainer at Carolina Brewery. Jonathan discovered Highlands in 2014 where the combination of his Food & Beverage background and his time spent in the United States Marine Corps brought values and skills to Old Edwards Inn and Spa. He incorporates those leadership and discipline qualities on a daily basis. During his time at Old Edwards, Jonathan completed the MIT Program which is an intense year-long management training program offered by OEHG to its most promising young leaders. After completion of the program, Jonathan honed his passion and talents for guest services as a Banquet Captain and shortly thereafter became the Bar and Beverage Manager for the company. He looks forward to his second season as Clubhouse Manager at Old Edwards Club. Jonathan's greatest passion is his family--his wife Sophie and son Julius.

Ilona Vos joined Old Edwards back in 2015 as an international intern from Poland, by way of Ireland. Upon returning home, Ilona graduated from the University of Ulster with a Bachelor of Science in International Travel and Tourism Management.  While in school she worked at the Merchant Hotel in Belfast, Northern Ireland's only AA 5 star rated hotel. She returned to Highlands in July 2017 and started in the Management Training Program. She worked in Madison's as well as in the Banquet Department where she was promoted to a Banquet Captain.  Ilona is excited to accept the position of Assistant Clubhouse Manager at Old Edwards Club and looks forward to meeting everyone this summer.

Growing up in a small town in northeast Ohio, Taylor was taught early on to give back to her community. Her early youth was spent volunteering at her church, library and at a camp for children with special needs. She held jobs in restaurants, home health care for individuals with disabilities and camp counselors for the developmentally disabled. She later earned her degree in Special Education. In 2014, she followed her dreams to move to Highlands to explore the world of hospitality and the beautiful landscape here. Her first two summers were spent serving at the Old Edwards Club. In the winter she worked at Madison's, the Spa, and was on the banquets team. She was later promoted to restaurant supervisor at the Club and fell in love with the leadership role. That fall she was accepted into the Management Training Program run by Old Edwards. She trained at the Spa, front desk, and in housekeeping. Halfway through the program she accepted the position of Spa Operations Manager. She is blessed to be returning to the Club this season as your Restaurant Manager.

Originally hailing from Donacarney, Ireland, Food and Beverage Director Thomas Keenan, honed his skills at Irish establishments such as the D Hotel, Crowne Plaza, and the luxurious Merrion Hotel. Thomas has now been a part of the Old Edwards' family for ten years and during that time he has revamped and improved all manner of food and beverage-related details for the resort; ranging from small touches like seasonal arrival cocktails to overseeing large projects like the expansion of the banquet kitchen at The Farm. Continuing to show his natural talent in organizational food service, Thomas is currently serving an integral role in planning Old Edwards' newest food venture- 465 Bistro. Whether involving the simplest snack or the most intricate special event, Thomas finds joy in making memorable experiences a reality for guests of Old Edwards.

Will Araujo

Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
As a native who has lived in Highlands for over 20 years, Will began his journey at Old Edwards Inn and Spa in the summer of 2011. As a part time spa and pool attendant, Will received his first exposure to the industry and gained a passion for hospitality and service. After three seasons in the spa he branched out to the rooms department as a bellman. From bellman, he became the front desk's Bell-Captain and held this post for two seasons before applying for the Manager In Training program (MIT). While in the MIT program, he spent the course of a year helping manage the front desk, housekeeping and F & B departments. Once completing the MIT program, Will took the position of Assistant Food and Beverage Manager helping supervise Madison's, the Wine Garden and all bar outlets. Outside of work his greatest passion is his wife Kendra and son Jonah.

Jerry West

Director of Operations
Jerry fell in love with the game of golf at a very young age. Spending time with his father and friends was truly an escape while growing up in the mountains of NC. This passion turned into a professional career in the early nineties upon graduation from Catawba Community College with a degree in Recreational Grounds Management and Agronomy. Positions at Cullasaja Club, Highlands Country Club, Highlands Cove and Old Edwards Club over the last 25 years have allowed Jerry to follow his passion and beat the alarm clock every morning. Old Edwards Club is one of the premier destinations for golfers, club members and guests alike, and Jerry hopes to spend many more years creating raving fans and growing a game that has become his life's passion.

Membership Coordinator

Bridget has lived in North Carolina for over 20 years, and graduated from Western Carolina University in 1996 with a degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. She has worked for Old Edwards Club since its inception in 2008 and strives to create a balance while working in both the membership and accounting departments of the Club.

Bridget lives in Cashiers with her husband Brandon and two children Ethan and Samantha.
