Melissa Delany

Director of Sales
Melissa has excelled in the hospitality Industry for the past 25 years, having worked at prestigious properties such as Fearrington House Inn and Sea Island prior to being named Director of Sales at Old Edwards Inn and Spa in 2009. She has been the driving force in shaping the many venues of Old Edwards into the award-wining destination it is today. Melissa’s favorite flowers are the jubilejnyj and the festiva maxima peonies.

Shayna Bigazzi

Associate Director of Sales and Events
Originally from St. Lazare, Quebec, Canada, Shayna's travel bug led her to several countries, including Italy where she met her husband. While living in the Caribbean, Shayna was instrumental in the launch of Martha Stewart's Beaches Sandals Weddings. The publishing giant's partnership with Luxury Resorts in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos. Eventually, Shayna and her husband moved with their two island pups to the United States, where she brought her extensive wedding and event planning experience to Old Edwards in 2013. Shayna’s favorite flower is the frangipani.

Vicki DeLucia

Senior Sales Manager
Vicki grew up in Ohio and fell in love with the hospitality industry at a young age. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Event Planning/Tourism Specialization. Her three internships focused on gaining experience within the industry. After graduation, Vicki became the event coordinator for a winery on Lake Erie. Vicki brought her skill and passion to Old Edwards in 2013. Her favorite flower is Hydrangea.

Callie Gillespie

Sales Manager
Callie graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Culinary Arts, and immediately her hospitality career sky rocketed. Her impressive resume includes tenure at Woodfire Grill, Jupiter Hotel and the Ritz Carlton, where she gained years of experience in the sales and resort arenas. When Callie isn’t honing her hospitality skills, she enjoys baking, traveling and dining with her life love and their daughter Annabelle. Her favorite flower is the dahlia.

Jessica Silver

Sales Manager
Originally from Ormond Beach, Florida, Jessica graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management and Marketing. To gain experience from a leader in hospitality, Jessica entered an internship at Old Edwards in 2012. Jessica found Highlands and Old Edwards the perfect life for her. After graduating in 2013, she moved to Highlands and began her hospitality career at Old Edwards. Her favorite flower is the red tulip.

Ashley Brabenec

Sales Manager
A local resident, Ashley grew up in Cashiers, and attended Western Carolina University where she majored in Business Administration and Law. In 2010, her career led her to Houston, Texas where she was an event planner for a successful energy hedge fund. After four years in the big city of Houston, the mountains called her home and she joined the Sales Team at Old Edwards Inn and Spa. Ashley not only brings event planning experience to Old Edwards, but also a deep, intimate knowledge of the area. This familiarity is a crucial asset when planning an event here. Ashley enjoys the daily outdoor recreation that Western North Carolina has to offer, spending time with friends and family and her two dogs, Opie and Nugget. Ashley's favorite flower is the peony.

Laurel Wilkey

Sales Manager
Laurel grew up in Sylva, North Carolina and attended high school at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School. She went on to attend college at The University of Denver, graduating with a double major in Art History and Anthropology. Laurel got her start in hospitality by working her way up through the restaurant world in Denver; which is also where she met her fiancé. Laurel was eager to expand her horizons within the hospitality industry. She welcomed the opportunity to move back to western, North Carolina and join High Hampton Inn and Country Club as their Group Sales and Events Manager. Laurel joined the Old Edwards Team in the fall of 2014 and had been an Assistant Manager in the Food and Beverage program before accepting her position as a Sales Manager. Her favorite flower is a Mountain Laurel, not only are they beautiful but they are also her namesake.

Addison Viani

Sales Associate
Addison was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia where she grew up drinking Coca- Cola’s and cheering on the Dawgs. Those cheers quickly changed after moving to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama. In May of 2014, she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Addison’s past work experience included a public relations and marketing internship at The Bascom Art Gallery in Highlands, NC (2013). She then expanded her knowledge in communication and became a contributing writer and editor for Platform Magazine in Tuscaloosa, AL (2014). Addison began her career at Old Edwards Inn and Spa just a month after graduation and has enjoyed every minute. Her favorite flower is the Sunflower – “A flower that provides beauty and a healthy snack is a favorite of mine.”

Vilma Keenan

Sales Assistant
Vilma was born and raised in the beautiful town of Prienai in Lithuania. After earning her degree from Lithuanian University, Vilma began her hospitality career. For four years, she served in a multitude of facets in hotels across Europe. She brought her extensive knowledge of five star European resorts to Old Edwards in 2014. Her favorite wedding flower- lily of the valley. "It’s very feminine; bell-shape blossom in sparkling white with the fresh, perfumed scent is unmistakable. This flower is simply beautiful."

Sales Manager
Monika grew up in Gdansk, Poland and moved to United States where she attended Florida International University and earned a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management. Monika has excelled in the hospitality industry for the past 20 years as a Director of Catering with Marriott Hotels and Resorts throughout the southeastern United States. She brought her extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry to Old Edwards Inn and Spa in 2016. Monika enjoys traveling and spending time with the love of her life and their beautiful daughter, Julia. Her favorite flower is a Red Poppy.

Kendra Pressley

Sales Associate
Kendra was born and raised in Cashiers, North Carolina before attending East Carolina University. Kendra graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Hotels & Lodging and a minor in Business Administration. After graduation, Kendra moved to Texas with her husband, an Army Paratrooper, and became the Assistant General Manager of the Hampton Inn in Temple, TX. The Army life led her to spend the next three years in Italy and then a year in El Paso, TX, where she spent her time raising her two daughters Madeline and Amelia. Once her husband retired from the Army, she welcomed the chance to move back to their hometown and begin her career at Old Edwards. Her favorite flower is Jasmine.
