The Spa at Old Edwards Inn Adds New Outdoor Spa Treatment Rooms
The world renowned Spa at Old Edwards Inn has completed yet another addition to its Mobil Four-Star wellness facility.
What previously comprised a third-floor terrace just outside the couples treatment room has been covered and transformed into three private treatment rooms with the option of open air massages in the fresh mountain air. Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne as they relax in the privacy of their own chaise lounge on the covered open-air oasis overlooking Main Street and the mountains beyond—on one of the highest terraces in the downtown area of the charming mountain hamlet.
The spa renovations are part of an overall $65 million renovation that has taken place over the past few years. Spa director Kyra Russell says, “Our guests come to the mountains for that indescribable essence of healing and rejuvenation. We have designed our spa around the most essential elements of well being, and the new Mountain View Treatment Rooms round out the suite of services for our guests, providing an alfresco treatment option that fully maximizes the mountain wellness experience.”
Completion of the new outdoor treatment terrace coincides with a new innovative spa menu by Chef Johannes Klapdohr. In addition to unique culinary cocktails, spa guests can dine on the most nutritious food available, without compromising on flavor thanks to the culinary talents of Klapdohr.
