The Spa at Old Edwards Inn Adds New Solarium to Bring the Outdoors In

Following a $50 million renovation of Old Edwards Inn and Spa that was completed in 2007, the mountain resort has now completed additional renovations to the award-winning wellness spa. A spacious solarium with a wall fountain, fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows now allows guests to experience the outdoor feeling while relaxing in a serene indoor environment.

What previously comprised an expansive second-floor terrace just outside the Spa Café and Fireside Lounge has been enclosed in glass to give guests the feeling of being outdoors while still enjoying the space on a year-round basis.

Decorated in soothing colors of sea foam and oatmeal, the solarium features a trio of stuffed chase lounge chairs facing the new wall of glass. Three additional chaise lounges line up in front of the beautiful stone wall fountain that graces one end of the solarium. At the other end, guests relax in conversational seating around the cozy gas fireplace.

In addition to the new solarium, a pair of outdoor treatment cabanas have been added to the third floor terrace just outside of the nap/reflection room.

To experience the new improvements to The Spa at a value, guests can take advantage of “Sundays at the Spa” discounts, the new “Spa Bundles” or enjoy weekday packages that include spa services or special spa add-ons at a discount.
