Asheville's "The McRibtips" to Play at Old Edwards St. Patrick's Day Celebration
(Highlands, NC) “The Farm at Old Edwards” will play host to a unique “stepped up” version of St. Patrick’s Day with an Irish Feast and Party on March 17. Asheville’s “The McRibtips,” featuring Ian Moore, will entertain guests with live Celtic music throughout the entire evening.
Ian Moore standout performances include a ballet choreographed by Terpsicorps Theater of Dance at the Diana Wortham Theater entirely on the subject of chickens, and performed every year at Asheville's Bele Chere street festival, 2000 through 2006 and then again in 2009.
Famous for their lead fiddler, singer and outrageous dancing antics, this group is an Asheville favorite. Featuring a washtub bass, washboard, and hollow body electric guitar, this group has a high energy dynamic that fascinates everybody who comes in contact. Complete with somersaults, kicks and spins, Ian is a master showman straight from Vaudeville. Old time melodies mixed with minstrel hokum tunes, swing and country dance favorites and an incredible stream of lyrics.
Old Edwards invites you to kick up your heels and kick it up a notch for St. Patrick’s Day, Old Edwards Style. Limited Space. For more information, call 1-888-526-8008 or visit the www.oldedwardsinn.com.
