Back by popular demand this year, Old Edwards Inn and Spa presents Atlanta’s Rai Ragland Jazz Band. It’s part of the Old Edwards New Year’s Eve Package, which also features the fun tradition 12 Grapes at Midnight, as well as a four-course dinner and a Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar New Year’s Day.

The Old Edwards New Year’s Package starts with an early evening hors d’oeuvres reception for inn guests in the Hummingbird Lounge, followed by a four-course dinner in Madison’s. Executive Chef Johannes Klapdohr has designed a sumptuous menu around the evening’s theme: Black and White. Afterward, guests will gather back in the Hummingbird to celebrate with entertainment, a champagne toast and “12 Grapes at Midnight,” an Old-Edwards tradition in honor of the Inn’s European influence.

Rai Ragland played to a packed house at Old Edwards last year, as lodging and dinner guests rang in the New Year. Best known for her showmanship and smooth supple voice, Rai performs traditional and contemporary jazz likened to the style of Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Dianne Reeves, Sarah Vaughan, Al Jarreau, and Dee Dee Bridgewater.
