Old Edwards gets decked out for the holidays starting Thanksgiving weekend.

And that’s also the first weekend that Tom Sawyer Christmas Tree Farm with its Elf Village is open. Thanksgiving guests can purchase a voucher to visit the farm and choose their own tree to take home on the roof of their car. Madison’s Restaurant will be serving a Thanksgiving Day menu at Madison’s Restaurant from 11:30 am to 5 pm. The menu features favorite holiday ingredients brought together in creative gourmet style by Madison’s chefs. Feast on items like Exotic Kale Blend with Caramelized Vidalia Onions; Bacon-Wrapped Quail filled with Yellow Grits and Chorizo Sausage on Black Eyed Peas Stew; Free-Range Carolina Turkey Breast with Cornbread-Dried Cranberry Stuffing and Crispy Buttermilk Fried Turkey on Braised Collard Greens; Braised Black Angus Short Ribs with Cabernet-Shallot Sauce, Crispy Onions, Roasted Chestnut Flavored Mashed Potatoes, Baby Brussels Sprouts all served with fresh fall garden vegetables and an assortment of delightful desserts.
