HAWKINS INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS EXPANDS AND DIVERSIFIES PORTFOLIO WITH SIX NEW CLIENTS

-- Two luxury inns, a hip travel guide, an innovative travel health product and two Argentine wineries herald busy summer for New York agency –

June 2007 (New York, N.Y.) – The award-winning New York-based public relations firm, Hawkins International, has announced six new clients: Old Edwards Inn and Spa, NOZIN® Nasal Sanitizer TM, Breakwater Inn and Spa, LUXE City Guides and the Trapiche and Michel Torino wineries of Argentina, to its global portfolio of luxury travel, real estate and consumer products. These additions will expand Hawkins International’s lifestyle focus while presenting new opportunities for the firm’s media relations and communications expertise.

So what’s new with each of these clients?

  • Old Edwards Inn and Spa (www.OldEdwardsInn.com) is an extraordinary historic property in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in Highlands, NC. With 61 individually-designed rooms and suites, the resort includes the Inn, a European-inspired Spa, Madison’s Restaurant, Wine Garden, and The Farm, a 33-acre special events facility complete with its own herb garden.

What’s new? This summer sees the grand opening of a new outdoor, heated pool, an extensively-renovated 29-room Lodge (a secluded and more expansive sister property to the Old Edwards Inn) and a new 15,000-square-foot Spa Amenities building.

  • NOZIN Nasal Sanitizer (www.nozin.com) is a brand new product launched this year that reduces the risk of infection from bacterial and viral pathogens, including cold and flu germs, for up to 8 hours when applied to the nasal passages prior to exposure to crowded areas.  Several studies show that the risk of infection for airline travelers is one in five, so NOZIN is especially useful for travelers.

What’s new? NOZIN is now available online at www.nozin.com or www.flight001.com, and in Flight 001 stores nationwide, GNC and Navarro drugstores in the South Florida area, in Miami Intl. and Boston-Logan airports, and in gift shops at select hotels across the U.S.

  • Breakwater Inn and Spa (www.TheBreakwaterInn.com) is a new waterfront escape set on the shores of Kennebunkport, ME. Constructed in the 1850’s, and a sister to the famed White Barn Inn, the Breakwater Inn is just emerging from a five-year renovation.

What’s new? Almost everything! While the building is historic, this is the first summer that the Inn will be debuting as a complete product, with a new spa, restaurant and updated bar to complement the 38-room, nautical-themed Inn

  • Trapiche (www.trapiche.com.ar) is an innovative and forward thinking winery, situated in the Andean foothills of Mendoza, where snow-capped mountains provide a picturesque backdrop for over 2,500 acres of their own vineyards. Trapiche has been producing wines since 1883, and is constantly acclaimed for their award winning Malbecs.

What's new? In 2007, Trapiche will introduce the third installment of its Single Vineyard Malbec project, a 2005 vintage celebrating the three best Malbec growers in all of Mendoza.

  • LUXE City Guides (www.luxecityguides.com) are sleek and sassy travel guides to the best Asian, European and Australian cities created for the discerning and busy modern traveler looking for the hottest spots for fashion, entertainment, and food.

What’s New?  This month LUXE introduces their New York City Guide to the mix, the first Guide in the Americas, offering insider tips on how to navigate the Big Apple.

  • Michel Torino (www.micheltorino.com.ar) is located in the Cafayate region of the Salta province of Argentina, where its lofty altitude, benign climate, impressive soil and parsimonious planting area combine to create world-class wines. The 115-year-old winery is a destination unto itself with modern winemaking facilities, as well as a five-star luxury Starwood property, right on site. The spa uses wine-based products in all of its treatments.

What's new? Because their seasons are opposite, the southern hemisphere introduces their 2007 vintages before the year’s end. At the end of June, look out for the limited edition 2007 Malbec Rosé, a delicate pink wine, with notes of honey and cherries.
