June 27, 2006-OLD EDWARDS INN AND SPA DEBUTS THE SPA AMENITIES BUILDING AND FITNESS CENTER

Highlands, NC-- On June 1, 2006, Old Edwards Inn and Spa proudly debuted an addition to The Spa at Old Edwards Inn. The Spa Amenities Building, a ultra luxurious 15,000-square foot expansion, furthers the world-class spa experience with additional treatment rooms (indoors and outdoors), men's and ladies’ locker rooms, steam rooms, whirlpools, sauna, spa solarium for relaxing between treatments, a reflection room and two exclusive Luxury Spa Suites. Spa guests may also dine al fresco on one of the lushly landscaped Spa Terraces with light fare served from the newly opened Spa Café.

Completing the resort experience for guests, on July 10, 2006, The Fitness Center at Old Edwards Inn will open with state-of-the-art TECHNOGYM fitness equipment, free weights, an outdoor workout terrace and a studio for classes. Specialized instruction for individual or group workouts and weight training in the weight-training studio is also available. A salt-water pool and outdoor spa will be completed in late summer.
