Douglas Woock Named Assitant Restarant Manager for Madison's Restaurant and Wine Garden
HIGHLANDS, NC- The Old Edwards Hospitality Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas Woock to the position of Assistant Restaurant Manager for Madison’s Restaurant and Wine Garden--the resort’s flagship fine dining restaurant.
Woock brings a strong management background to his new position. Prior to joining the Old Edwards team, Woock was General Manager at Millstone Inn for seven years. In his role there, he was instrumental in transitioning the small Bed & Breakfast property into its current full-service, upscale Country Inn status. As well as hiring, training and supervising staff and providing resources for a variety of guest needs, Woock was also responsible for menu and food service development and advancement. During his tenure at Millstone, the property was selected for inclusion in several notable associations including Select Registry and Conde Nast Johansens.
Using his strong guest service skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry in his role as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Woock will support all facets of daily operations for Madison’s Restaurant and the Wine Garden. Working directly with co-Manager Ashley Brinkley, Manager Russell Pacheco and Executive Chef Nate Waugaman, this classically trained culinary team will continue to present Highlands’ finest dining with creative menus, the freshest local and regional ingredients and the very best flavors.
