HIGHLANDS, NC- Old Edwards Hospitality Group is pleased to announce spring specials at The Spa. Available April 1-June 30, 2006 these treasured treatments offer guests the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate in the most refreshing of mountain seasons.

Additional guestroom packages are available to enhance guest’s total relaxation, rejuvenation and enjoyment at Old Edwards Inn. Additional nights are also available to extend each package. Please specify spring specials when booking treatments.

Carolina Cocoon and Bath Two hours $200, plus gratuity

 Prepare skin for the revealing months of summer. Begin with a coconut-infused scrub to slough away dry winter skin. Immerse the body in a silky coconut milk bath. A therapist will then apply a hydrating kukui nut coconut lotion and cocoon the body while gently easing head, neck and feet muscles. A specifically tailored massage will follow, leaving the body refreshed and the mind renewed.

Detox Bath One hour $115, plus gratuity

This luxurious Detox Bath provides gentle self-exfoliation, and a cool water rinse. Specifically formulated with Bentonite clay, Detox Bath is an ancient purification aid. When hydrated, the clay generates and maintains a very strong electromagnetic field, which attracts and holds unwanted, non-nutritive substance such as pesticides, radiation and other toxins, so they can be eliminated from the body. After the cleansing bath and rinse, a therapist will apply antioxidant Green Tea body butter to further moisturize and soothe the skin.
