September 2, 2005 - Madison's Restaurant Earns Wine Spectator Award of Excellence

HIGHLANDS, NC--The Old Edwards Inn and Spa is pleased to announce that its flagship restaurant, Madison’s, is the recipient of a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. The August 31, 2005 issue of Wine Spectator included the restaurant in its annual listing of award winners.

According to the publication, restaurants chosen for Awards of Excellence are “recognized for a commitment to a fine wine program, with a sufficient selection of better producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.” The Restaurant Awards Program is now in its 24th year. The annual contest recognizes more than 3600 restaurant wine lists.
