HIGHLANDS, NC--The Old Edwards Hospitality Group is pleased to announce a Special Events Weekend at Old Edwards Inn and Spa in May 2005.
In an effort to provide guests with a more focused spa experience, Old Edwards Inn and Spa presents a Women's Wellness Weekend, May 12th through 15th, 2005. This three-night package includes deluxe accommodations, lunches on Friday and Saturday and two special Spa dinners--one at Madison's Restaurant and the other at The Farm, the resort's special events facility. Wellness cuisine will be featured throughout the weekend. Guests will participate in group yoga/stretch classes each morning and then attend sessions on Age Defying Secrets, Stress Management and Facial Rejuvenation during the day on Friday and Saturday.
On Saturday night at The Farm, the weekend's keynote speaker, Dr. Bafitis will address "Wellness Medicine Meets Plastic Surgery, Fighting the Clock and the Hormones of Youth." Dr. Bafitis is board-certified in plastic and general surgery. He holds a master's degree in public health, with an emphasis on anti-aging medicine.
As the Chairman of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, he is responsible in maintaining the high standards in testing and certifying other plastic surgeons in the United States. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Nova University/Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the founder and current president of Regenesis Now, Inc. based in Wellington, FL.
