Oskar Blues
Dale’s pale Ale
A deep amber-colored American ale, featuring a
rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add
a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is excep-
tionally balanced between malty sweetness and
delicate hop bitterness. It has a universal appeal
and is our workhorse, accounting for about half
of our total production. The term “Gaelic” more
commonly refers to the language of the Celtic
peoples in Scotland and Ireland and particularly to
the Scottish Highlanders. The dark amber color is
similar to a Scottish Ale but the flavor and body is
more in the style of American Amber.
Oskar Blues is headquarterd in Lyons, CO and
recently opened a brewery in Brevard. This is an
obvious fit – small town feel, similar to the town
of Lyons, CO, close to Pisgah National Forest, filled
with the mountain biking-spirit found in the Rock-
ies, and a down-home vibe perfect for top-notch
music and soul-savin’ food.
Dale’s is America’s first hand-canned craft beer
and is a voluminously hopped beer that delivers a
hoppy nose, assertive-but-balanced flavors of pale
malts and hops from start to finish. It is a hearty,
critically acclaimed trailblazer that has changed
the way craft beer fiends perceive canned beer.
