New Year's Eve with Rai Ragland
It all starts with an early evening hors d’oeuvres reception for inn guests in the Hummingbird Lounge, followed by a four-course gala dinner in Madison’s with menu items designed around the evening’s theme. Afterward, guests will gather back in the Hummingbird to celebrate the evening with entertainment, a champagne toast and “12 Grapes at Midnight,” a new Old-Edwards tradition in honor of the inn’s European influenced architecture.
A resident of the Atlanta area, Rai Ragland is an up and coming sought-after performer. Best known for her showmanship and smooth supple voice, Rai performs traditional and contemporary jazz likened to the style of Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Dianne Reeves, Sarah Vaughan, Al Jarreau, and Dee Dee Bridgewater.
