One Old Edwards guest will win a piece from the Ann Jacob collection - the more nights you stay, the better your chances of winning.

This huge exhibition and art sale from Ann Jacob’s four galleries in Palm Beach, Florida, New York City, Atlanta, Georgia and Highlands, North Carolina, along with her private collection, will be offered for viewing and sale from August 26 through September 2, 2010 at the Executive Conference Center of the luxurious Old Edwards Inn & Spa.

Events throughout the week will also feature, presentations by nine well-known artists, a wine dinner with Ann Jacob, the works of International photographer of Greg Newington, a Gallery Stroll, a wine welcome and an Auction benefiting the Literacy Council of Highlands.

Tickets are $35 for fashion show, lunch and a champagne arrival Acorn’s Boutique debuts its spectacular array of fall designer fashions for women of all ages and body types. View this seasons hottest styles from designers like Covelo Clothing, Planet Clothing and Marissa Baratelli. Also featured will be beautiful fall accessories by Bijouz deMer Jewelry and Elizabeth Locke Jewelry, including the new stylish selection of handbags. Cash Bar. Limited Seating. Distance / Course: 5K (3.1 miles) – front nine holes
Entry Fee: $30.00 in advance (August 31, 2010) $35.00 on Race Day. (Shirt and race packet for first 150 pre-registered runners / walkers.) A pancake breakfast will be included in the racers entry fee, which will be offered after the race (spectators may purchase a “pancake breakfast” during/after the race)
Awards: To overall top 3 male and female in various age groups
Purpose: Proceeds from this 5K will benefit the Highlands Literacy Council: The Literacy Council of Highlands exists to help people gain the communication tools they need to lead more fulfilled, productive lives.
